Malvika said in an interview, “from personal experiences, my research and interactions with other differently-abled people, I know that the way we dress is important for self-confidence and claiming an identity against a society which often tries to tell us what we are. The considerations needed when it comes to clothing when you are differently-abled are as diverse as impairments themselves. Hence, functionality as well as fashion is important”.
